Litan Joint-Stock Company is the General Dealer of the first Ukrainian trolleybuses manufacturer - Southern Machine Building Plant (UMZ from Russian 'Yuzhnyy Mashinostroityelnyy Zavod') named after A. M. Makarov Production Association State Enterprise. Producing, supplying and providing warranty and maintenance services for UMZ T trolleybuses are the main activity lines of Litan JSC which vehicles are successfully operated in 47 cities of Ukraine and CIS countries including Kiev, Moscow, Minsk, Chisinau, Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava and the Crimea region. Experience gained by Litan JSC through many years of work, powerful industrial and intellectual potential of UMZ and Yuzhnoye State Design Office which are well known for their achievements in rocket and space industry ensure fast and high-quality problem solving at all stages - from engineering developments to prompt finished products delivering to the customers. A number of original technical solutions are employed in UMZ T trolleybuses design. These solutions provide for enhanced electrical safety, vehicle reliability as well as much easier maintenance. Constant process of innovations and more effective and modern technologies introduction basing on the customers' requests is the main advantage of the business. As a result of successful co-operation of UMZ PA SE, Yuzhnoye SDO and Litan JSC over 770 reliable and comfortable UMZ T trolleybuses adjusted for operation in severe road and climate environment are running now the passenger routs of many cities within and outside Ukraine.
