High electrical safety, reliability, comfort and easy maintenance are the distinctive features of UMZ T trolleybuses supplied by Litan Joint-Stock Company. This is achieved through a number of original design solutions listed below.
This is the first example of an all-metal frame introduced into the trolleybuses structure. Such frame enhances durability and working life, significantly reduces the weight of the vehicle and provides for the vehicle operation in complicated road and climate environment and at heavy loads.
In UMZ T trolleybuses compact connectors previously used only in rocket building were applied. Thus the trouble shooting procedure takes now less time than usual.
The corrosion-resistance enhancement is achieved through aluminum plasma spraying technology, resilient adhesive technologies of Sika (Switzerland), and high quality grounds and paints of TIKKURILA (Finland). In addition following the new technology all the carbon steel structures are coated with 0,12 mm thick aluminum layer and enamel. This type of coating (with one layer of enamel over sprayed aluminum) provides for 10-year service life of component elements in moderate cold climate environment overland.
Comfortable adjustable seat, driving system with a hydraulic booster, ventilation and heating system, rear view mirrors defogger system, good panoramic view and modern control panel design contribute to the driver's convenience and comfort.
UMZ T trolleybuses are assembled of equipment and units produced by domestic manufacturers as well as leading enterprises of Russia, Belorus, Moldova, Europe.
